Upvoted. I had the same problem with my Buick Regal but I was blessed that it was still under warranty. 120,000 miles is the cut off. I was at 110,000 miles at the time. Would have cost me $1500 dollars.

Oh man! Yeah, his car is getting beaten down pretty bad so it was almost to the point where we had to decide if it was worth to fix or not, he just can't afford to have a car payment right now...especially while he's trying to save for a place of his own to live at.
