Just right now my day has come to an interesting end, recovering the stolen dress and then giving it out to the one who had stolen it again.
Around August last year I lost one of my favorite black dresses. it was always on the menu, booked up for the wear regardless of the occasion.
My heart was bleeding, like how you can have that one thing that you love out of the many and boom its gone and you have no where to start the hunt.
Renting an apartment must be cool and peaceful especially when everyone has there space well demarcated but in scenarios like here where you have that one common area, you have no option but to pray to God's divine intervention each time you do laundry.
Suddenly today a miracle happened. I found the dress, was able to hold it in my hands again, but this was just for a few hours before the possessor came around demanding an explanation.
I don't wanna call it an exchange but something of the sort somewhat happened. Someone who didn't buy the dress went ahead to ask me for the exact date on which I lost it and yet she didn't know when she bought it.
Anyway I wanna use this same opportunity to credit google photos for the pictorial backup and me for the photography love. Well we (with my sisters),were able to present that and the whole vent went silent.
I am so thankful for the seed planted in us by my father to handle thinks the Godly way. We were able to win the case if it was and the other party couldn't refuse the dress peaceful offer, shamelessly saying thank you that she'll take it because she needs it.
At least there has been a bit of justice. We identified the taker, I don't wanna call her a thief. I have also learnt my lessons, letting go and letting go though every time most of us want to fill in the blank space for , who took it?
I would like to attach a copy of that photo just to pictorial evidence here too.
Thank you hive for the opportunity to share here, kind regards from Uganda.
