    Yes, that is true. Even treatments in Ayurveda take astrology into considerations. To go deep into this information:

    • Diagnosis of certain diseases are done only during a particular time.
    • For the preparation of medicines, the Ayurveda practitioner will check dates and time and prepare the medicine accordingly.
    • Time and date when medicines can be gathered is also well detailed in Ayurvedic scriptures.
    • I know few practitioner who analyzes the birth chart first before he starts with diagnosis or medication for any disease.
    • It is believed that if the astrological signs are not in the right position during the diagnosis, the diagnosis may not give effect or all the defects may not be visible to the eyes of the person doing the diagnosis.

    It is true that not all the modern Ayurvedic practitioners follow such things. But, there are still some pure Ayurvedic practitioners who consider all these factors and do the treatment. I have also seen good results if it is done this way.
