Violence of a women Independancy in a Independent world.

Hi Friends,
1st of all wish all my friend's a very Happy Independence day "15th of August" is Indian Independent day, today i will share some painful feelings with you guys,i don't know whether u will like or not,this is my own filings and thought,i will be greatfull if too my friend's share there own feelings as well.

Violence is a term all of us are aware of.
Violence can be in different forms - physical violence,mental violence,sexual violence ,deaths etc.. Violence is mostly associated with women. Women around the world experience different kinds of violence. It is not just a current issue but has it's roots in traditions. Violence starts when a woman is born.Right from the time when she is in the womb of her mother she starts experiencing violence. Female infanticide is one of such issue. No time a baby girl is born she is being deliberately killed inside her mother's womb. It is still widely practiced in India ,China and even Pakistan. Female foeticide is another issue where a newborn infant is killed when it is found that the baby is a girl. It was and still practiced to avoid dowry.

Not only women are subjugated ,men who are financially weak are also subjugated by other men. Dowry deaths nowadays are very common. Married women experience the most violence. Not only their husbands but also their in-laws are engaged in this heinous crime. Shame to our culture.!!Despite of the implementation of 498A ,many cases go unreported.

Recently, one of my close relative has undergone physical abuses by her husband and her mother in law..I don't know the reason but whenever I call her ,she cries over the phone. I feel very bad because as a woman I can't help.
