Trip in Penang: My top 5 wonderful places to visit in Penang.

Hello Steemit, last time i post about the delicious food in Penang, now I would like to share more about the Penang which is my top 5 wonderful places.

1.Pinang Peranakan Mansion

I introduce you the Pinang Peranakan Mansion (Baba and nyonya heritage museum Penang ). Baba and Nyonya is refer to the Straits-born Chinese are the descendants of Chinese immigrants who came to the Malay archipelago including British Malay and Dutch East Indies between the 15th and 17th centuries. So this mansion is owned by the Peranakan (Baba and Nyonya) family. This mansion show the unique lifestyle and the architecture which influence by Malay community and European.

2.Kek Lok Si Temple

Last time i post the food called "Penang Asam Laksa" in the place called "Pasar Air Itam", it is nearby the place called Kek Lok Si Temple, if you interested you can continue the journey to this place.

Kek Lok Si Temple is the biggest chinese temple in Malaysia. It located in Air Itam in Penang facing the ocean and impressive view, and is one of the best known temple on the island. The whole complex of this temple was worked over a period from 1890 to 1930.

During the Chinese New Year, the place is queue up with flowers, paper packets and red lanterns. At that time it will contain a lot of visitor to visit.

3.Penang Street Art

If you love art like me, how about visit the street art in Georgetown. Thanks to Ernest Zacharevic who done the marvelous job to bring a new life painting to some of the oldest buildings in Georgetown. The wall painting in Georgetown represents the characteristics and the lifestyle in the city. The painting is done during 2012. However, if you travel now to the street art, it may not visible because the painting started to fade away.

4.Dharmikarama Burmese Temple

The neighbour Malaysia is Thailand, some of you might know that the tradition, culture and religion from thailand brings toward to Malaysia. This time i would like to introduce the thai temple which is called Dharmikarama Burmese Temple

The temple was build in 1803, it is also the oldest and only Burmese Temple in Malaysia. When you visit this place, you can discover the life of Buddha through the paintings, also you can see the beautiful sculptural works done by the Burmese craftsmen.

5.Penang Botanical Gardens

This time I would share the nature of the beauty in Penang which is Botanical Gardens. The gardens is also known as Waterfall Gardens set up by the British in 1884. The gardens situated on Jalan Air Terjun in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. If like exercise, I commend you this place because a lot of local penang love to exercise in this place.
