Carwash

When the kiddo was a toddler, he was scared of many things. Noise, darkness, basement were some of his emotional dangers. The fear he was unable to shake off even if an adult was at hand was being in a carwash.

His mama would always try to explain to him that it were only suds, water and huge brushes. Indeed, he tried so hard to be brave. But the moment the sounds of the automated brushes are heard and blots of soapy water spitting onto the car, the poor kiddo would start to whimper and soon he would be shaking and crying. He would beg his mama to drive off urgently as the car 'is vey clean already'.

Thank goodness that all these are behind him now and he has conquered his baby fears. He tells me that carwash is not scary after all and he is alright with Halloween too.

Hah! Love it. My little brother growing up was the same way. It has to be the noise!
