"What you feel, you attract"

in #life6 years ago

When I was travelling in Australia, I used to love going to second hand shops because it felt like there was always a book waiting for me.

One day, I couldn't find any book, but a friend who was there with me (Thank you Wendy), pointed out one book, called "The secret" by Rhonda Byrne.
It's about what she calls "the law of attraction", which is often explained this way : "You attract what you think about."

Actually, this is not new, and you can find this law in most of the religious and spiritual books, expressed in different ways.

In the bible, in Matthew 21:22,

"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask in prayer."

The Buddha said :

“What you think, you become.
What you feel, you attract.
What you imagine, you create.”

I would also express it in these terms :

"We live in a vibrational universe, and we attract to ourselves that which resonates with our dominant vibrational states."

So, if you feel positive emotions, like joy, happiness, gratitude, you will naturally attract to yourself positive events that are in alignment with your energetic state.
And if you feel negative emotions, like frustration, stress, anger, you will naturally attract negative events.

If you can master your thoughts, and therefore your vibrational state, you can master every area of your life.

Really agree with your post. If we all understand this by our heart, our life should be full of joy!
