@healthiswealth said - Don't worry about how much you weigh - be more concerned about your percentage of body fat.
Muscle weighs more then fat. I agreed with @healthiswealth.
This is what I would do to lose weight. Although, there are many diets out there - this is not one of them instead it is a change in lifestyle.
- Start your morning with water (about 1 litre)- warm or lukewarm is fine drink and the purest water you can get. It might be hard to get down but try. Add lemon juice for flavour if you like.
- Drink about 2 1/2-3 litres of water throughout the day and if drunk before meals as well your appetite will be reduced. (this is based on your weight of 90.3 kilos). For people using ounces it is half your weight in ounces - if you weigh 160llbs then 80 ounces is recommended.
- Eliminate all table sugar. Do not use sugar substitutes. Go cold turkey!!! This is to give you a boost - not forever.
- Eliminate other carbohydrates (so no rice, potatoes, cakes, bread etc. etc.) If you find that difficult - just consume less to start. Be conscious of the amount that you consume with the aim to do less each time. This is also to give you a boost - not forever.
- Eat meat with vegetables only. i.e. if you are a meat eater. Lessen our meat portions as well. Be aware of how much you eat. I will not specify how much - you be the judge. Doing less is already a step towards your goal.
- Include lots of greens in your diet - juice them if you do not want to cook them - you will get more nutrients anyway. However, do not forget that fiber is good.
- For snack have fruits and vegetables like cucumber, celery, red pepper etc.
- Add probiotics in your diets - can also do that via kombucha, water kefir, kimchi or fermented vegetable that you make yourself.
- It goes without saying - eliminate processed foods - cooking for yourself is the key or do so most of the times. Then you know what you are eating.
- If you do not exercise already - do not start with strenuous exercise. Just go for walks - you can build it up later.
- If you fail -for instance - stop eating sugar for 2 days then start again - do not be hard on yourself. Just keep trying - start again. Be nice to yourself.
- Envisage how you want to look - remind yourself of the reason why you want to look like this or the reason why you want to lose weigh. It will help you to stay focussed.
- Do not forget to breathe and to love yourself.
I hope you will follow these tips - if not all at least some of them. Please let me know how it goes. I am not a doctor or dietist but I assist where I can as this is what I would do.
Hope this is helpful. Please let me know.
I will share all proceed from this post with @myhealth.
A good tip is to add some spices to your meal for more taste. Many spices have benefits on your health. Enjoy !
