We'll leave all the things here in this life and move on to another eternal life, some people won't be with us and other that we did never met them will be with us (or maybe not) because they prepared for the eternal (new) life just as we did here in this world. So if we decide to be good people here we'll sure meet the same ones there we need just to decode the message in our hearts and have faith.
