Steemit Withdrawals, Getting My "Fix", Incompetent Coworker, and More!

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Greetings, Steemians! Holy crap has it been a looooong week. I've been so busy this week that I haven't actually had time to write a post. I actually came home on Monday all jazzed up to do another post, sat down in front of my computer to start writing, typed out "Greetings, Steemians!", and then stared at the screen brain dead for a good thirty minutes before giving it up as an exercise in futility. Every day this week I've thought about what I was going to post about that day. And never actually had time to do it. So frustrating. I've been making due with commenting and resteeming for days and it has been driving me crazy not having a chance to actually write a post myself. I plan on doing a couple over the weekend to hopefully get a good enough "fix" in to tide me through next week, just in case it's another long week.

You may be wondering why I've had such a long week. Or you may have already figured it out if you read the post title, which I'm sure most of you did. My coworker is kind of incompetent. One of those derpa derp people that just lacks common sense. Like has been eating the boss's food out of the fridge, can't follow directions, has to be babysat type of things. He can't be trusted to work alone so I have to stay until he finishes all of his work for the day. And since he screws around and doesn't work with a purpose, it takes him for freaking ever to get anything done. Oh and then there's the whole having to go back behind him and fix things. Like this bamboo that got washed out in flooding that he was supposed to replant but just plunked back in the hole and walked away from.

No backfill. Just stuck it in the hole and left it there. After having it explained to him multiple times to replant it and where to get the soil to backfill with. Notice how it looks almost dead at this point. That's because the root ball was still completely exposed.

This is one that I replanted at exactly the same time as the one pictured above. Notice how much healthier it looks.

I have actually spent some time this week compiling a folder of bookmarked links for several different websites and posts that I have found helpful and wanted to be able to find again easily. I will probably share those in a later post, when I'm more comfortable with what I'm doing and can make sure that I'm properly attributing credit and such. I'm going to be working on implementing more, better formatting into my posts this weekend, so hopefully the visual appeal and ease of reading my posts is improved some. Break up the wall of text that has dominated my posts thus far. Or try to anyways. Bear with me, I have lots of great pics from around the garden that I really want to share, and stories to go along with them, I just want to make sure that when I do, I'm doing it right and it's not some newbie attempt with crappy formatting and such.

Keep an eye out for what I'm hoping will be at least 2-3 more posts this weekend. Including one with a little more background on me, as well as at least one photo of me at long last.

Thanks for reading my post. If you have comments, questions, suggestions, etc. please leave them below.

Nice to see you back around! and that's a bummer to have to clean up after coworkers but in a way its job security :) one suggestion is if you are going to include pictures from outside use the "nature" tag in there somewhere because it is a popular one! for that matter "photography" as well.

Thanks! I'll go add those now.
