Hurricane Irma is something I'm very worried about! Around 2 weeks ago people weren't really worried about a hurricane and now its just getting worse by the hour. At times it seems as if it's going to hit South-East Florida and other times it might hit South-West FL. I live in North Miami which is in the South East side! Friends of mine have evacuated to as far north of Florida as they can! Some are even at Georgia right now!
My family and I started preparing for the hurricane two days go on September sixth. We started by stocking up on food. The essentials were water, meat, and carbs. Then came the protein bars, chips, and others.

During that mission my dad stocked up on gas just in case we need to travel somewhere or if gas stations shut down after the disaster.

Then the entire house was barricaded with wood planks and shutters. That was a lot of work putting all of them hahaha. But at least we found the wood which was sold out everywhere!
The last thing was to store our cars. Luckily, my dad has a warehouse with enough space to leave our vehicles and more. We actually helped out some of our neighbors by taking their cars in.
Now it's just time to wait for the monster to come! Wish me luck!👍🏻👍🏻
