Slimming World Diary
Day 1
My place of work is 25 miles away from where I live. So on a normal working day (starting at 8am) I will raise from my bed at about 530am to get ready and leave for 7am. Eating breakfast this early is a nightmare! By the time i get to work and settle down, I'm hungry again. So I continue to eat breakfast but take a healthy 'mid morning' snack.
Breakfast
Ok, so on this particular morning I had strawberry's, blueberry's and raspberry's with fat free yogurt on the top. This particular dish if Syn free with no Health A or B included.
Mid-morning Snack!
Like I said previously, I get a little peckish by 10/1030ish, so I always make sure I'm carrying some kind of fruit with me.
In this case, I munched on an apple. No Syn, No Healthy A or B
Lunch
So, for lunch I had Tuna sandwiches - filed with 'Lighter than light' mayo (0.5 syns per 1tbsp)and sweetcorn. On the side I had some salad. I'm not going to lie, this was a massive lunch and I struggled eating it but it was amazing.
Dinner
So, I had chicken skewers with SW chips. The chicken I grilled with chili flakes along with tomatoes and red pepper. Please check out my previous blog on how to make slimming world chips. I could not live without these, and better yet they are completely syn free. Again, a little lighter than light mayo
I also keep track of my walking/exercise. I'm lucky I have my Fitbit and the Fitbit app helps you keep track of everything.
I was on a role this day, I smashed all my personal daily targets. I went to the gym which helped alot.
All in all, my day consisted of 3 syns (a lot of Mayo) my health b (bread) and my healthy a (350ml Skimmed Milk for tea)
