Fitbit Surge

I've had my Fitbit Surge for 15 months. Originally, I won one of the very first Fitbits (when they came onto the market) but as it didn't display the time, I decided to sell it. I then left the company that I was working for at the time, in which case they gave me a tonne of vouchers to spend. So, I took myself to Argos and spent them on a Fitbit Surge (£169.99).

I purposely bought the Surge as its major selling point was that GPS was built-in. Meaning that you could track your run/walk without having to take your phone with you. This was a major selling point for me. I know you should take your phone everywhere with you and especially if you're out on your own jogging.

Features

  • GPS tracking
  • Pure Pulse heart rate
  • All-day activity
  • Multi-Sport Mode
  • Smart Track
  • Long Battery life (Incredibly long)
  • Smartphone notifications
  • Music control
  • Auto sleep tracking and silent alarms
  • Touchscreen display
  • Wireless syncing

Unfortunately, you are unable to change the watch straps on this model, but you do get a choice of Small or Large fittings.

The Fitbit app is also a benefit, especially for those who like to keep track of things. Here, you can view how many steps you have taken during the day, how you sleep was the night before and you can even start challenges with your Fitbit buddies.

I would definitely recommend a Fitbit to anyone.
