The thing with long-tail odds is, there are so many people in the world, something unusual ought to be happening to someone, somewhere, for those odds to hold true.

I mean if everyone in the world did the 76 coin flips, someone would be expected to get all heads at odds of 7bn to 1 (Ok, ugly math but you get the idea).

And now we're all so interconnected, you hear about it five minutes later!
