I think I've re-opened a wound with this post... closer to tears more than I would usually be - at just about anything sad.
I'm so sorry for your situation. Nothing I could say would alleviate that :(

Thanks darl. I'm fairly calm about it for now, as we just have no idea how things will go. Though of course it will be different when the time comes. Although saying goodbye to a parent is something we all have to do, is anyone ever ready for it? Sorry that your wound has been so reopened too. <3
