ၿမိဳ႕သူျၿမိဳ႕သားနဲ႔တန္ေအာင္ ယဥ္ေက်းျၾကျၿပီလား

Townlife is different from country life. Country life is simple, closely connected to nature; no pretence, no affectation. You can spit anywhere you like. You can ease yourself undercover of a bush. Betel spit? No problem; our Burmese countryside is still raw and virgin - a few gallons of betel spit cannot do any serious harm to the environment.
ၿမိဳ႕သူၿမိဳ႕သားတို႔ရဲ႕ လူေနမႈဘဝက ေက်းလက္က လူေနမႈဘဝနဲ႔မတူပါ။ ေက်းလက္မွာက ႐ိုး႐ွင္းတယ္။ သဘာဝနဲ႔ တိုက္႐ိုက္ထိစပ္ေနတယ္။ ဟန္ေဆာင္မႈကင္းတယ္။ တံေတြးေထြးခ်င္လည္း ေျမႀကီးေပၚေထြးလို႔ရတယ္။ အေပါ့အေလးသြားခ်င္ရင္လည္း ျခံဳကြယ္ေလးမွာပဲ အလုပ္ကိစၥၿပီးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ ကြမ္းေထြးမလား၊ ျပႆနာမ႐ွိပါဘူး။ ဗမာေက်းလက္က သဘာဝအတိုင္းပဲ ႐ွိပါေသးတယ္။ ျပဳျပင္အလွဆင္ထားတာမ႐ွိေသးေတာ့ ကြမ္းေထြးႏွစ္ျပည္သားေလာက္ကေတာ့ ဘယ္နားပဲေထြးေထြး သဘာဝပတ္ဝန္းက်င္မွာ ထိခိုက္မႈမ႐ွိပါဘူး။
But townlife is not so simple. If you spit in public you have to consider many different viewpoints. The first thing is...spitting is just like defecating...excreting waste matter. So excreting waste matter in public is only done by animals like straydogs and praiahs. So it is frowned upon by civilized people - especially by culturally superior townsfolk.
ဒါေပမဲ့ ၿမိဳ႕ေနလူတန္းစားရဲ႕ ဘဝကေတာ့ အဲဒီလိုမ႐ိုး႐ွင္းပါ။ လူျမင္သူျမင္ တံေတြးေထြးမယ္ဆိုရင္ စဥ္းစားစရာ ႐ႈေထာင့္ေတြမ်ားလွပါတယ္။ ပထမဆံုးစဥ္းစားရမွာက တံေတြးေထြးတယ္ဆိုတာ အညစ္အေၾကးစြန္႔တာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ လူေ႐ွ႕သူေ႐ွ႕ အညစ္အေၾကးစြန္႔တာဟာ ေခြးေလတို႔၊ ေခြးဝဲစားတို႔လို တိရစၧာန္တို႔ရဲ႕ လုပ္ရပ္ေတြသာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ ယဥ္ေက်းတဲ့ လူ႔အဖြဲ႔အစည္းက ရြံ႐ွာပါတယ္။ အထူးသျဖင့္ အဆင့္႐ွိတဲ့သူေတြကေပါ့။
