An Interesting Day

Car Wreckers, Competition Win, Long Walks, Shopping.

Four things that I've done today. Keeping busy is something I need to do otherwise I go insane. I'm sure some of you will understand what I mean.

I won my first ever Steemit Competition along with 3 other people. I guess you could say I was pretty happy about that! I've never won a competition actually, whether online or in real life, but at least I know if you put the hard miles in, it'll pay off.

I helped my ex out and took him to the car wreckers. For for any of you who don't know, it's basically a huge field filled with unwanted, broken cars, like a car graveyard. It was VERY hot and we were there for about an hour and a half! So it's safe to say I got just a little burnt. But he was happy as he got the parts he wanted, and is currently trying to fix his car. Which is great news for me, as it means I won't have to drive him around all the time.

I took my gorgeous dog out for a walk. I try and do an hour each day and have started doing some jogging intervals. Since I've got a Border Collie, who's naturally supposed to be on a farm, it's very important he gets at least an hour exercise each day! Plus if I don't take him, I know about it. He will moan and groan, bring me his ball and continuously run to the front door - he's like me and goes crazy if he's been cooped up all day.

Thanks to Steemit and all of you lovely people who upvote my posts and support me, I've had some money this week so I decided to finally do a bit of shopping! Something I haven't been able to do in a long looonnngg time!! So thank you all ❤️

I had a look at the freewrite prompts for today and yesterday but they didn't really take my fancy. Usually I'm fairly creative but I didn't even know what one of the prompts meant! So hopefully I'll be back into the freewriting tomorrow.

The first week of 2018 wasn't exactly the best week for me, but the second week is definitely a lot better and I'm actually looking forward to this year.
