Interesting but depressing video cheers max

However no matter what the content/topic is , then a post with only an embedded video and little description doesn't add any value to the steemit blockchain imho. Instead, the value to steemit comes from the discussion it provokes.

You would get more feedback if you offered a small overview of whats discussed and/or close with an open ended question to provoke discussion :)

I made a pastebin with the video transcript and description from the googles because it was too big to fit in a comment (TIL about 16kb limit )

I'm just trying to help new users do better on steemit.
Do other users agree with these suggestions ?

Why not?

It's not a big deal, and I know a lot of users do this - but I've seen a lot of youtube censorship of truthseekers over the years and the blockchain is a permanent archive that we can't update after a certain period..

So If all a post has is an youtube link and no description, and doesn't manage to generate any comments (besides spam), and youtube decides to break that link..

Then all we have left is extra data being stored redundantly around the world for eternity, and no clues about search terms to find the content elsewhere :(

It's just something I'd been thinking about lately, I've already had one of my #downtherabbithole posts break after the video got taken down (after years online, till my steemit post)

Besides future-proofing the post , a good description or transcript makes the content searchable and more visible = more votes

ok no prob, Im just experimenting to see what posts work at this stage
