I'll be at the beach again this summer, catching some sun and joining in on the party.
This time of the year they call "rokjesdag" (skirt day), it's called that day because of the first glimpse of summer we get to see and all the ladies start wearing skirts. A nice summer feeling, and it gets everyone in the mood for the upcoming summer holiday.
If you're in Amsterdam and plan on going to the beach, make sure to hit the beach spot called De Republiek.
