Well, you have 40 days, so still some time to monetise your skills. Define what your skills are and create offerings for them... Here some ideas...
Here on Steemit you have several possibilities to earn money.
Curie Guild: discover post for Curie guild and earn Steem with each post they select to upvote; It takes time to find the right post, need to be from posters with a lower reputation than 63 or 64, and I think post reward shall be below 25ct. You can check with them @curie on Steemit and curie at steemit.chat. URL for post you want to upload to Curie, here the URL https://streemian.com/guild/curie/propose/ I'm not sure what they pay out, but one time I got 8 Steem (= 5-6$) from them for 1 post I think. If you want to be sure, check with them.
SteemitGig: @surpassinggoogle set this up and is able to help you. Gigs can be anything. Could be translating could be designing something for fellow Steemians, could be making photos in your town when someone likes to have them; could be executing a prank to someone in your hometown for someone who has a friend in your hometown but is not able to help; Anything really! You may think of 5 to 10 different things you can offer and great as many entries in SteemitGig and outside Steemit in fiverr.com.
SteemTrail: you can start a curration trail with SteemTrail, moderate the trail topic, select the posts that gets rewarded with SteemTrail votes and earn rewards with that, I think you get Trail Tokens. They can be sold on Openledger for BTC or even Euro or $ (need an registration with your bank account for that).
I already mentioned creating many good posts, also good comments to eg whale posts may get you good comment rewards...BUT be careful, your comments must add real value to the posts, and not all whales are voting on comments. If you like to see examples that gets rewarded, feel free to check my comments.
Outside Steemit, you may think of anything, if Uber (the taxi) service is in your town, do gigs for them, ie transport people from A to B. Deliver food to peoples homes when ordering food from a food order place. Over your computer skills to your friends, and their friends, and to anybody in your neighbourhood.
My advise, get ride of the stress, take some time to thinks things over, think in solutions, and then decide what you will focus on.

Write everything down; Earning money with post/curating can be interesting for those times you have free, but first identify all possible options, then make a plan and use some of the time left for Steemit, Curie, Steemtrail. Talk with surpassinggoogle. Best of luck my man!
