Cooking up homemade Thai/Laos Food.

in #life7 years ago (edited)

I have forgotten to mention my nationality is thai/laos so yes my mother has taught me how to cook up some traditional dishes. Thai and laos dishes are mixes of aromas and ingredients. Some dishes are different and there are different versions and traditions on them.

With thai food there are the 5 tastes used to create dishes. These favours include sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and hot. Another factor that heavily influences the way the food tastes is what region you are from.

Here is a dish i made one of favourites which is Stir fried Chilli Basil Mussel in thai its called 'Pad Krao Pao Hoy" It is a favourite within my household and is a popular thai street food and there is so many great alternatives to it. The aromas come out when it is being stir fried and it just smells delicious.
