Fasciola Hepatica life cycle:
Eggs come out into the wild with the sheep's faeces. When to find wet habitat. the eggs hatch and become ciliated larvae, called Mirasidium.
Mirasidium into the body of the slug Lymnea will grow produce Sporokista.
Sporokista seara partenogenesis will produce Redia
Redia paedogenesis will form sercaria.
Serkaria leaves the snail's body clinging to the grass and transforms into metacercariae.
The causative metacaria eaten by livestock develops into a young worm which subsequently migrates to the bile ducts on the new host's liver to begin its life cycle.
