DON'T BREAK THAT LADDER YOU ONCE USED-in relations

Well, my own interpretation goes in the aspect of help and dependency.
Many people break the ladder that brought them far without having full knowledge that they might still use that same ladder to climb up to the next apex. This proverb is a very wise one that shouldn't be ignored.

When we are rendered help because of our state of dependency, let's become watchful of our character towards the person who offered help. Am not saying you should be at the mercy of that person all your life but don't act stupid when you know how dependent you are to that person.

Life could be funny at times, we might vouch not to ask for help but we end up embarrassing ourself by asking for help from the same person that we have offended.
sourceDon't go feeling fly over an issue towards the person if you are very much aware of your dependency on that person. Notwithstanding, it should not restrict your outspokenness on some issues but it should be of a great extent.

Play cool, and make sure it always an healthy and mutual friendship with the person because you got nothing to lose, be it dependency or independency. They always say that this life is a personal race, but I tell you that that statement could be limited because succeeding without people is like flying without wings. You need people weather you like it or not, thus, building a firm Friendship would do more good.

Speak when it's time to defend your self, but maturity is when a message that sounds insulting is passed across with so much politeness. Keep quiet when it's not necessary and mind your words ,It could be people means of discouragment and Genesis of hatred.

Your ladder could be God for sure or your family, it could also be your friends or relatives.. It's very important to rest on a peaceful foundations even when you become independent, our relationship with people would speak for you one day, may be the day you can't speak or defend yourself, "death".source
