How to Get Stuff for Free or Dirt Cheap on Amazon

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Amazon has a ton of private sellers and many of them use 'promotion' aka giveaway sites to get their product ranking up when launching a new product. As a bargain shopper, you can take advantage of this and get products discounted up to 99% off or free if you have a large social media following.

Here are some good pointers:

Have an Amazon Prime account. Many of these products do not pay for shipping. If they do offer free shipping, look at their Amazon page as many ship from China and may take months to arrive or sometimes not at all. To be on the safe side, look for FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon) shipped products.

You can sort products from low to high pricing on sites like jumpsend.com and vipon.com Double check competitors prices on Amazon as they are not always the cheapest. Some sellers may even try to charge retail prices on these products.

Some of these products are newly launched so reviews are lacking. You are not obligated to write a review but I would contact the seller if there was a fault in the product.

You can get paid to promote a product or get a freebie on tomoson.com if you have a large social media presence (over 10,000 followers) on Facebook, Instagram, youTube, Twitter. Be prepared to make social media postings and make sure the product is worth your time.
You are not guaranteed an item. Applying for many products and declining them later is better than waiting for one item. However, vipon.com has an Instant Deal category. Tomoson is notoriously difficult to get items unless you have a huge social media following.

Only use 1 promotional code per transaction. Amazon gets confused with multiple codes. The will bundle the items before shipping.

You can get free Amazon giftcards if you use the Bing.com search engine. I've gotten many $5 gift cards this way. Credit card Amazon points aren't as good as cash back.

Here is the list of sites:
www.jumpsend.com
www.vipon.com
www.amzoneclub.com
www.tomoson.com
www.snagshout.com (I signed up, never used it, looks kind of expensive)

Let me know in the comments about more promo sites or any good tips. Thanks!
