As a father of a four year old daughter, I loved this article. Shae and I have a regular date night and have a very tight relationship. It's one of my most cherished things. There is something awesome about hearing your daughter brag about you to other kids.
I was inspired by an article I saw on Upworthy titled, “A dad took his daughter on a trip, just the two of them, and wrote what he learned.” I decided to go on a vacation with just me and my four year old daughter over a long weekend. It has been one of the most impactful and life changing things that happened to me as a father. I would strongly advise every father with a daughter to do the same. Wow thank you so much for sharing this with us lpfaust. I have a monthly date with each of my children separately. They choose the activity for the date, it always turns out to be great fun and a good way to draw closer to each other. We all love these times as we get to chat privately and in a relaxed manner.
