Fantastic post -I love bamboo, and even more so after reading your post. I have bamboo in my garden in Norway (!) - and it stays green all through the frozen winter. This is one sturdy plant as well. 😄

Yes I love bamboo too. I'm impressed that you have it in Norway! Amazing. But there are so many species of bamboo that you have one special to your place. Thank you for your comment. : )
Just to clarify: we have planted it in our garden, the bamboo is not native here. 😄 we’ve planted it in a row in stead of a hedge. A lot of people stop and comment on it, as it’s not so common. but it looks great 😄
Yes, but impressive that you can keep it growing. I'm sure it's a coversation piece. I'm from Canada, and never saw bamboo growing there. Maybe someday!
