Today, i was walking around my neighborhood as i was about to buy some bread. I saw these guys who were inhaling some Solvent or best known as rugby here in PH. They looked at me as i continued to walkby as if not noticing them. Their eyes were red as they get high by every sniff they take. Then i see some kids playing and thought how dangerous it is to have those people near the kids. What if they hurt them for fun? What if something bad happens? We all know that this people no longer have control over themselves after being high.
I remembered few years back when i was in my highschool years, i have this friend who was addicted to solvent, i saw him turned crazy going on the streets swinging his stick acting as if he is an anime character. Then one day we heard that he was put to jail because he stabbed someone when he was high. It was sad how solvent ruined his future and how he almost killed someone because of it.
I was also able to witness kids ranging from the age of 11 and up begging on the street and once they have money they would run to the store and buy some solvent, as there were some stores who are selling it for retail.
Our President is now fighting over Methamphetamine as most of us know. But how about this solvents that are easily bought for a very cheap price thats ruining even the the kids of today? How can this be solved? Where are the parents who are suppose to teach their kids whats wrong from right? I wish everything will have a solution and i hope everyone will be careful while walking on the street.
