Looks very prehistoric. Quite the trip by the looks of it. Even of you have to keep your coat on I'd say its totally worth it

It is totally worth it, I have never seen this part of Scotland and it is very beautiful!
It's nice when you find good travel gems in your own country. I think people in general tend not to travel in their own country because they are so used to it. Unless that's just me?
I think that's right. I never bothered with travel within Scotland until COVID and lockdowns. Then we decided to do a Scottish place each year we hadn't been.
I am thinking though after three or so years we might be done with them as a main holiday and stick to weekends away within our own country and longer away away!
Yeah that makes sense too. It was different with covid. Great you got to see more of your home country though
