I have 4 Grandsons with another on the way. All quite different as we have the intellectual, the best friend, the athlete and that happy person... but they all share that infinite creativity.

And it is always amazing how quickly they pick up on things, catch the details and commit them to memory. Many adults on the other hand have regressing cognition, focus and recall.

The image above was the 5 year old after just watching Kong Skull Island for the first time. He was able to keep in memory and RE-create both Kong and its nemesis the Skull Crawler.

I didn’t even remember the name of the nemesis until he repeated it 5 times!

Many people assume that creativity is an inborn talent that their kids either do or do not have: just as all children are not equally intelligent, all children are not equally creative. But actually, creativity is more skill than inborn talent, and it is a skill parents can help their kids develop.

One of the best ways to increase or foster their creativity or productive capabilities is to buy toys that require it. LEGO’s or building blocks, paper and crayons, puzzle toys etc. even electronics with challenging mind coordination drills. Grow them well the future demands it.

absolutely..
to buy toys that require it !i completely agree here

Urge youngsters to peruse for delight and take an interest in human expressions. Point of confinement TV and other screen time with a specific end goal to prepare for imaginative exercises like practicing a play, figuring out how to draw, perusing each book composed by a most loved writer.

As long as that book is not a dark twisted Disney type book.
