RE: Taken!

I am giving you the benefit of the doubt, as you are an NLP practitioner and may have some useful tips to share. But as such, I would also expect better manners. You have just spammed someone on their birthday, and appear to have not upvoted. Two very bad habits that will get you flagged. Please right click on the picture below to open it in a new tab and read it well.

Hi kiwideb, thank you for sharing but first, I upvoted the post straight away (so please do check next time before you accuse somebody), and I added a comment relevant to the content of the article as the author complains that his family does not show to him the same kind of affection every day. Our bad habits may turn our brains into "vinegar brains". Sadly, next time I will be more careful with commenting or providing links to my articles, although the idea was to share some tips, as you have just said. Meditation does help us to become more gentle in relationships because our brains literally change for the better. Yet, in Neuro-Linguistic Programming we say that the meaning of your communication is the response you get. Your response saddened me but sometimes, it may be a cultural difference though. I have been on steemit for a while and I do up vote posts I enjoy. I enjoyed this post, upvoted it and shared what I believed might be good for the author. The rest is just a matter of interpretation. Good luck to you too.

I did have a look at your steemd account and couldn't see an upvote anywhere. I apologise if I missed it.

I also could not see that recommending meditation to someone on a humorous post was appropriate. As you say, it may be a cultural difference. But sharing a post about how to improve oneself, on someone else's post, if they didn't ask for feedback, will often be taken badly rather than in the spirit you meant it. So I still think you need to be a bit careful about how you promote your posts.

There is such a lot of inappropriate link sharing now, that people are getting a bit cross, and maybe I did overreact. Even if everything I said was correct, in hindsight I was showing bad manners myself, and could have been way more polite. For that I apologise also.

Yes, I think it may be something about the cultural difference. I just saw somebody suffering on the inside, and laughing on the outside. I am sorry, as I must have misinterpreted it. Your feedback has been really helpful though. I will be more careful about how people may respond to our "good intentions". As for the upvote, I definitely upvoted but I must have added edition some time later (I can't remember), and this was the record you saw (not 10, but 9 hours ago). I have added the snap below to confirm this. Many thanks for the feedback - it helps when going out to people from different cultures. Some things we must learn for a very long time.
