One day and so many emotions.
For many it’s a starry eyed day with dreams in their eyes, hopes in their heart and a song on their lips; for others it’s a day of eye rolling, hand banging against their heads while the love (or for them - the drama) continues to unfold and yet for others it’s just an ordinary day other than the visuals of red roses, pink balloons, hugs exchanged and kisses blown.
Whichever category you fall into, it’s undoubtedly a day that lingers in everyone’s minds and the before and after effects for some can be humorous and for others quite daunting.
Most often women will be at the shops and indeed it’s the one day their time management is spot on for the multi tasking of visiting a number of shops to pick not only the perfect gift for themselves through their husbands, boyfriends or partners via gentle communication with sentences like ‘gosh how beautiful this is’, ‘do you think this would suit me?’ ‘I haven’t this; I must buy myself one’ to walking around shops and choosing that perfect dress not too long so as to be old fashioned, not too short and revealing so as to send the wrong signals is quite a task.
I find it extremely humorous how for some men it can be such a ‘chilled’ out day with the farce of having made the effort when it’s been friends or sisters who’ve done the planning and gift hunting leaving them to carry out the execution with such grace and elan. Yet, admirable how for some, it’s a day of perspiration trying to read in between the lines of what their better halves would like, ensuring that perfect candle lit corner table with a bottle of champagne and a present wrapped in the most brightly colored red and finished with a golden bow does the magic of having floored a woman.
Post D Day, the stars still shine in her eyes, a natural blush on her cheeks and the brightest of smiles light her face while some hope that the act of the previous day leads to a lifelong commitment of marriage and babies. For others like myself, it’s a day of thanking my stars I didn’t need to clean the house, cook and that my husband would baby sit our child while I just eat the most delicious food at a restaurant to my heart contentment without worrying about making a bottle feed, rather than just finishing my one meal in the year without getting up even once.
For him, it’s waking up to a day of immense relief that washes over not only his face but his entire body for it’s that one day, he’s done everything to ensure he doesn’t ‘screw up’.
For my better half, it’s an evening of having bonded with our child and watching me eat my way to gluttony, more often than not putting a man to shame.
And for those of you wondering, if a child has been made on this day of ‘love’, we will call you in November, a month dedicated as Children’s day in certain countries 😉.

It's so amazing how you can have so many emotions in one day... Although you come highly recommended by @nainaztengra, I'm really glad to see that you're a psychologist and hypnotherapist too. I've been practicing hypnotherapy for a good 20 years now and it's really nice to see a fellow hypnotherapist joining steemit. :)
@nuridin Thank you for your kind words, I’m humbled to have come so highly recommended. Indeed interesting to know your a hypnotherapist too. Would be lovely to exchange ideas and experiences. Thank you for taking the time out to read and vote.
You're very welcome. I know another hypnotherapist here from las vegas... @misslasvegas maybe we can all start building a hypnotherapy / psychology community here and share our experiences... I'm sure it would be helpful for all the steeminas out there.
@nuridin - Sounds exciting and I’m all for it. I’ll follow the steemian you mentioned. Thank you for that.
I did flag the person who did a copy and paste of my post. Pretty uncool!
Fantastic....I'll talk to misslasvegas and see how we can make this happen. :)
Ah, it could be a painful month for many too. haha
Anyways, if a couple manages a Feb- Nov... that's bang on target! ;)
@superstar2018 - Yes of course, many emotions that day. Lol, haven’t yet come across a couple that’s managed Feb - Nov. thank you for taking the time to read my post and vote

Such a wonderful sentiment about this wonderful month of Love. And you can really feel the joys of love spreading throughout Steemit as well, so many wonderful people going around and selflessly upvoting and commenting on the posts of others. It's so kind and generous of them to just click on the users name, visit their blog and upvote and comment on all the recent blog posts they worked tirelessly to create. Enjoy your special day with your family, I am sure it will be wonderful.

You just copied and pasted @khushnum.stevens 's comment word for word... How could you do that? That's considered plagiarism. You could get flagged and have your reputation go further down. No wonder you are (13). That means it's not your first time to do so.
