🔥🧠Stop "Overflowing" Your Brain!🧠🔥

in #life6 years ago

It's so easy to get overwhelmed by life, We are so busy, and we continually flood our brain with mindless garbage, We then expect ourselves to get a lot done, And chase our goals.

Often we don't take action, Because we feel overwhelmed, Or we aren't sure where to start.

✏️ Write It Down ✏️

Writing it down, Gets it out of your head and onto paper, This is great because it allows you to freely pursue other things while still remembering what else you needed to do.

Also if it's a journal entry, it's a great way to relax and get your emotions out, Especially if you were stressed or upset. It can help you calm down and not make any crazy decisions.

Organize It

Organizing is an essential tactic in reducing your stress level. When things are a mess, it's easy to get distracted, or sidetracked; It makes it difficult to focus on what you are supposed to. No one can get a maximum amount of work done, In a crazy messy environment.

Make Charts

This isn't for everyone, But sometimes making lists or charts of the things we want to accomplish, Really helps. It gives us a clear-cut path to getting what we want. Instead of sitting around confused. It also can motivate us by letting us know exactly what we've accomplished thus far.
Charts are great for those who are more visual.

My trick for imprinting the important things like when I wrote my novel is use a bit of cardboard, write it in a decent size and sit the cardboard in front of me, at the computer. After looking at it multiple times I would see it out the bottom of my eyes and instantly feel like doing more and more.

When life is a strain and it's overflowing your brain
Don't be a cluttered clown just write it down
bring it down to size it seem easier to organize
End confusion at the start and use a chart
so stop being overwhelmed and take the helm

It's hard not to have information overload in this day and age. Nice tips though.

I agree! It can be hard, But we can pull ourselves away when needed.

It depends on if this “overflow of thoughts” are good or bad. Good - a flow of ideas and inspiration. In that case, take notes and dive deeper! Bad… that’s a different story.

Hello, thanks for sharing, really very interesting to put into practice so as not to fall into stress

I upvote and resteem simply because you are so adorable😂

You are amazing!!!

I used to know dozens of phone numbers off by heart before mobile phones. It seems so trivial now but you had to in the "old" days. We always remember the useless stuff and forget the important things. Will try this trick of writing it down to clear the brain.

Awesome advice as always!
Writing my goals down right now! ;)

"Overwhelm" will cause procrastination and cause productivity to decline

It is a great advice I love reading these things, so I can tell my friends to put it into practice! Sometimes we think too many things and do not do any to be stressed with other issues

Great images to help one relax along with some good advice on coping with the day, week, month and year by being a little more organised, a little more disciplined in oneself. Nicely done

What an amazing blog post really you have great writing skills, loved it,following you keep sharing.

I've long subscribed to the "do it now or write it down for later" technique.

Only problem is, now I'm drowning in scribbled index cards!

You're right. Making charts wouldn't be for everyone. It would probably take me longer to make a chart them to complete the actual task at hand. LOL. I found that writing things down definitely helps though. I use this a lot. If I try to just jumble things together in my mind I definitely get overwhelmed.

It's time for an information diet. :)
