Drawing Cute little things

in #life8 years ago

I've really been focusing on Steemit lately, I've somewhat neglected my coloring books. It sure is crazy

When you are a kid, It seems like everyday lasts a lifetime. If you stay up late, wake up early. You can accomplished everything and everything in that one day.
It's pretty disappointing when you are an adult and you realize that your time is so finite. And it's easy to spend one day working on a simple projects that yields little to no positive results. Being self employed is more stressful than I could ever imagine.

I have the greatest Ideas, Things to create and write. yet It seems like now that I have left my job, I actually accomplish less.

Could it be the endless suffering I had at my job, Forcing me? motivating me?

Or is it just my spurts of ideas that are taking over to the point no human can accomplish those things in one lifetime?

I decided to sit down with my Wacom Cintiq, and draw. Just draw.
While this isn't "dedicated practice" because I'm not focus on building skill or techniques.
It's more of a playful practice to spark my creativity to bring in more fun ideas.

I decided to draw little animals and creatures. That would make a fun coloring page. Or even a sweary page.
Although I really don't need to start another coloring book, I only have 5 million ideas already going. And there is only so much I can smash together into one book, Until people start to complain.

Tomorrow I book my trip to San Diego, and I feel like dying of excitement, After having a childhood of no traveling or vacations, I get extra excited to see a new area outside of Utah.

I also paid for a custom made Steemit sign to take on my trip :) maybe I can take some super cool pictures to help advertise Steemit as a whole, I mean Steemit did fund a massive chunk of the trip!

I've also been working on recoloring my hair. I have red hair, and I want to go even more red.
More of a carrot orange color!

I was going to dye my hair blue for Steemit Like
@treeshaface
But I decided that the upkeep for blue hair would be too much for me to handle.

So I guess I'll be the KaylinArt Carrot head!

Sort:

I paint little things with rasta colors, I call them rasta spaceships

THOSE ARE AMAZING XDD

I like the idea of drawing cute little animals and creatures, I'm exited to see more, Maybe I'll sit there like:

And by the way have a nice trip to San Diego @kaylinart and best wishes!

Thank you eheheh XDD I LOve that picture!
I will! I can't wait! It's a whole month away! ehhee.

Great sense of humour- well expressed!

That is so true how when your a kid everyday seems to last forever and when you grow up there is never enough time. I was just talking with someone on steemitchat about this yesterday. I like your articles and drawlings. Upvoted and followed.
💋 @halo 💋

Its so true! Thank you very much!

Cool. I like the bunny, that's my fav. If you ever decide to dye your hair blue, you must do a Marge Simpson bouffant and post that. It would be hilarious! I'm not holding my breath, though... ;-)

Thank you :)
OMG that would be so funny!

Nice drawings, it looks like a very nice craft you are doing

Thank you

Love it, great article, thanks!

No problem :)

Very cool! You've been posting a lot of great content. Followed :)

Thank you so much <3

Hey Kaylin! I've spent the evening writing a poem about minnows, dolphins, and whales. I'm a huge fan of yours, and would be honored if you considered helping illustrate it.

Would this be something you're interested in? I'd of course give you credit and even split some of the profits assuming it became popular! Thoughts?

Totally cool if not. my email is bud@aboundlessworld.com or @aboundlessworld

Sure what exactly would you like me to illustrate?

Definitely sorry if this comes off spammy, genuinely just looking to connect. Happy to delete the comment if needed. :)

It's fine :) not spammy at all. Very kind of you! I'd love to be recognized on another persons blog! :)

Just seems that the more we want to accomplish, the fewer hours there are in our day....
Go figure!!!

EXACTLY! Sometimes I wish you could pay people to sleep for you.

I see an oddish in the second drawing!

Yes!! Definitely inspired by Oddish!

These are adorable! I just LOVE to colour!!! ---- Also, you know that when you are drawing you are in the moment of now, (in your heart and not in your head.) Time only exists in our head!

Thank you :) I agree! Time is just something that humans Made up.
