I see and understand your point...steemit in itself is a community. .we are just small communities within...again there is no need...its an option. ..that people can choose for extra support...and as I said we also curate ..upvote..comment etc from our feed and new as well...so we ...
like everybody else are upvoting based on merit ..that is what Steemit is about for sure :) :) I understand your need for simplicity. ..and that's okay ..steem on :) :) we will still see your posts in the feed and support you :) :)
