The future of car renting is here! In this day in age, average automobile owners can now rent their vehicles online using an app called Turo.
And the best part is that it is so easy to sign-up. You simply register using your Facebook account, Google, or your email.
Once your account has been created, you start a search using your travel dates, location, and price range. Turo will then provide you with all of the results for your search criteria right in your local area! Once you've found the car you like, you can select it, and the owner has up to eight hours to determine whether they will approve or deny your request.
If your request is approved, you can discuss with the owner where to meet up to pick up the car. With that being said, most owners usually bring their cars to your location. Once you meet with the owner, you simply check the car over for any damage, scratches, etc., and show them your driver's license, then they hand the keys over to you.
At the end of your trip, you are required to fill the gas tank back to where it was when you originally received the vehicle, and meet back with the owner to return it. Upon return, both the owner and you will walk around the vehicle once more to check for any damage, scratches, etc., and then you will hand over the keys.
Plus, the app is so user-friendly that common drivers can even post up their cars for others to rent. When you create your profile, you type up a brief description of your car and upload some photos of it as well.
Also, be sure to have a reliable calendar set up, so you know which days your vehicle has been rented out for.
You'll receive notifications if someone is interested in your vehicle. Be sure to approve or deny the request as soon as possible, and reach out to the potential renter if you have any questions. If approved, schedule a meet up location with the renter, check their license, and look over the vehicle with them before handing over the keys.

Once your renter is ready to return the vehicle, simply look the car over before accepting the keys, and be sure to rate your experience on the app.
