A father who has a successful business, having little time for his family.
A father who spent most of his time with family, neglecting his career.
A child who has addiction towards online game, slept late everyday, affecting the day after.
A child who does not play games, becomes frustrated daily due to boredom.
An artist who pursued artistical perfection in his artwork, not able to generate sufficient income stream for himself.
An artist who sell his artwork just for money that he no longer not feel his artistic passion.
Balance is a highly crucial concept in our daily life. Conversely, it goes unnoticed most of the time in the flow of our fast moving busy life.
We strive hard to achieve things we want in life neglecting things we currently have. We try to "optimize" our efforts to achieve things as soon as possible.
The "optimization" could work for short term, but not for longer endeavours.
Why it is so?
(I will write about this in the next post)
A fulfilling life is like a colorful rainbow. Isn't it dull to have just black or white for rainbow? It is of different colors, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Perhaps it is not all colors that matters. We shall prioritise top few colors that matter the most to our lives, not just one or two.
We need love. We need friends and family. We need happiness and we made memories out of happiness. We need time for our hobbies. We need space for our individual self. We need a healthy body. We need money to for food and money to build a roof on top our head, on top of our family.
Contrary to norm, money shouldn't be the utmost object of importance in life. Too much emphasis towards money by many, encourages further negligence and ignorance towards other aspects of life that could be possibly and equally important.
