Gosh, with having to learn how to protect private keys, learning exchanges, etc, all this can be overwhelming. So yes, an adult needs to be part of any transaction so children can just focus on the creating of awesome content and learn the mechanics of blogging. When they're ready to do more, they'll be well prepared... probably way more prepared than most of us were.
