The weather has changed again today, at 3am we had heavy hail, I woke up scared, they were hitting the windows very hard, the hall also brought very strong winds then after 15 minutes it was all over with. Its been snowing most of the day with the odd heavy hailstorm. Hubby had to work the full day at the building site today as they are getting behind with the bad weather. He was freezing when he got home. The tempreture has plummeted.

I had to get up into the shower and ready for wren hubby got home, we had a few errands to run. These errands always arrive on the days I can't be bothered to do anything. The shower woke me up giving me enough energy to get dressed.

FOOD BANK NEEDS

We have to take some energy readings for our gas and electric as tomorrow the prices go up by 54%. I really feel for the families who can't afford to heat there houses now, tomorrow is going to be so much worse. Can you believe in the UK today some families have to decide whether to feed there kids or put the heating on. Its that bad here now. The rich are coining it in with the energy companies making billions in profit but because of the price of a barrel now its the poor and working class who have to pay whilst the big companies get away tax free. I hate our government, they have been in power for 12 years,

The government promised they were going to level up, level everyone up to a good standard of living When all they have done is push so many families below the poverty line and make themselfs a fortune. I remember the pandemic watching Everyone come put and clap for the NHS workers then as soon as the Pandemic seems to have disappeared they give the NHS staff nothing, start charging them parking whilst at work then raise all utilities, fuel and food prices are soaring. We have so many families relying on food banks. There are families that are working that sum have to use the food banks.

I do what I can, I buy extra when I can for the foodbank trolleys I give food bags to the homeless, I will donate whenever I can. I'm just one family, I wish I could do more.

I heard someone say something that made perfect sense, MPs should never be anyone who is rich. They need to know what its like living on the poverty line. Someone who is rich will never know what its like to go without the basics.

This year is my first year of my like that I can breathe calmer with paying off our mortgage and being debt free. We have struggled to get here, now life is calmer. I know what its like to have nothing, Devon hand clothes, growing up was hard but that was 57 years ago, poverty should have been wiped out.

Thank you for visiting. πŸ’ŸπŸ’Ÿ

Generosity is always a winning trait. Those who have dealt with poverty on a personal level always seem to be more generous. We could all take care of each other if only the governments would get the hell out of the way! Good on you, Karen!

The governments could do so much good and still make a fortune, it shocking how they treat people.

I have always wanted to live in the UK despite my lack of knowledge about the place..now I really have to pay less attention to the aesthetics of a country and more on the real thing that's going on.

I often wonder why so many people want to come here, its honestly now what it was. So many foodbanks so much poverty is certaintly not a place to live, wish I could move away. This is all down to our present government who don't care about the poor they look after they rich friends.
