How to Make a Smoke Bomb from Materials of Household
The smoke bomb may look like it contains some rare chemicals, but actually you can make it with simple ingredients around the house. You can quickly make smoke bombs using enough sugar, ice packs (like those in first aid box), and some tin foil. Ready? Check out Step 1 to start learning how to create stunning smoke bombs without taking long.
Prepare all the ingredients. A simple smoke bomb that can produce a thick gray smoke with a purple flame of fire can be made using only two ingredients: white sugar and potassium nitrate, which are the ingredients found in ice bags. [1] Mixing these two simple ingredients will produce slowly burning and long-lasting bombs.
If there is no sugar, use powdered sugar, but with powdered sugar the bomb-making process becomes slightly different.
If there is no ice bag, look for other sources of potassium nitrate (also called saltpeter). This material is often sold in the fertilizer section in building materials stores and gardening equipment. You can also buy saltpeter on the internet or make it yourself if you really want to make this smoke bomb.
You may also need a medium sized pot, aluminum paper, smoke bomb mold, and wax-coated strap (optional).
Make a mold for your smoke bomb. You can coat the inside of any container with aluminum paper to turn it into a smoke bomb. The smoke bomb will affect how it burns. You can make more than one smoke bomb so you can compare the different shapes and see for yourself which ones produce the best burning form. Here are some examples of prints you can create:
Cut the top of the milk box and use the bottom half for the mold, if you like box-shaped bombs. Coat the inside with aluminum paper.
Coat the inside of the bowl with aluminum paper. All kinds of bowls, high or low walled, can be used.
Create a small smoke bomb by coating the inside of the candle with aluminum paper.
Create a pipe bomb by lining the inside of a roll of toilet paper with aluminum paper, but make sure that one end is completely closed.
Create a funnel-shaped smoke bomb by lining the inside of the funnel with aluminum foil.
Look for pots that look interesting to create an artistic smoke bomb.
Take sugar and potassium nitrate. If you want to make a large smoke bomb (bombs that can be switched on easily and light up for a long time), the most important thing to note is the comparison of materials. You need 3 parts potassium nitrate and 2 parts sugar. Measure 1½ bowls of potassium nitrate and 1 bowl of sugar to produce a large enough smoke bomb.
Adding too much sugar will make the bomb difficult to burn and burn too slowly.
Adding too much potassium nitrate will make the bomb turn on too quickly and burn too quickly anyway.
reduce heat.
Continue to cook the ingredients mix until the sugar is completely melted, while stirring it slowly.
Stop stirring if the sugar has melted. Continue to cook until the sugar becomes caramel and the color turns to golden brown. After that, remove the pan from the heat source.
Pour the mixture into the mold. Do this very carefully, because the melted sugar is very hot. Fill the print until almost full. If you want to make a bomb with a fuse, wait for a few minutes until the mixture is slightly hardened, then place the waxy rope in the center, so that the rope can stand upright. Let the smoke bomb harden and completely cool in the mold.
Remove the smoke bomb from the mold. After a few hours, when the bomb was really hard, it was time to get the bomb out of the mold. Turn the mold so that the bomb comes off the mold in the aluminum paper. Remove the aluminum paper and now see the smoke bomb already printed.
Turn on the smoke bomb. Bring a smoke bomb to a safe place (no flammable objects around it), such as your backyard or other outdoor space, not a room inside a building. Put a smoke bomb on the ground and use a match or lighter to turn it on. If you use the axis, you can light the axis and watch it begin to burn. Or if not, turn on the bomb immediately. The bomb would soon begin to smoke!
If the bomb does not go on, the possibility is a comparison of potassium nitrate with too little sugar. Too much sugar makes the smoke bomb difficult to light. Try again with the correct dosage.
If the bomb burns too fast, this may be because you put too much potassium nitrate in the mixture. Try to make it once again with me.
