Season changes and so does the fashion trends. In the market, clothes that has trends is the most expensive item sold at malls. We cannot afford them and we still want to be stylish without spending much right?
As a filipino, I have grown buying clothes and others stuffs at "ukay-ukay" those are items that are imported from other countries across the globe. These are the things that they don't need anymore and some were just donated at thrift shops or stores. Most items I have seen are mostly from goodwill.
I love how I mix and match and create outfits from what I bought at ukay-ukay. I even have clothes from the expensive and known brands that I have bought for a cheaper price and I think it's a very frugal way. This is how I live and how I dress.
Trends may fade and go out of style but the most important is we must not sacrifice our money just to achieve a good style for dressing. Another is in whatever we wear, we always have to make sure we are comfortable.
