(poetry) First Set Of Haiku's I Made Through The Years

Hey there Steemians!

Ever since I chanced upon this amazing poetry, I have learned to love it and so I tried to practice making some.

What is HAIKU?

"HAIKU is a major form of Japanese verse, written in 7 syllables divided into 3 lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables, and employing highly evocative allusions and comparisons, often on the subject of nature or one of the seasons. It is a 'poetry' of its form." -- (as defined in dictionary.com)

With no formal education about this content, I actually tried it and I was curious if can actually create one. As a self-confessed poet, I still had a wide vacancy on my brain to fill in more knowledge about the subject matter. The poems that I only know my entire life, were the ones with rhyming words at the end of each line. I neither had any clue on free verse as well, and I don't have that mastery to do it, very well.

However, no more than that, I am delighted I have written a few that I could share to you guys. Please read on a few haiku that I made ever since I chanced on this amazing type of poetry.

These collections that I have, and the poems that I have written are merely just a creation of a hobbyist and a poetry enthusiast at that.

The Day

Come out dear sunshine.
Accompany the rainbow.
Make Today brighter.

Go louder, thunder!
Hit me and scare my numb soul.
