Its hard to believe we can see this level of violence in our nation. I live in the US where 59 people were killed and 525+ were wounded in Las Vegas shot by an evil man filled with hatred.

It saddens me, because I already know the narrative in the news and on social media. I’ve heard it 100 times, a debate will start, words and opinions will be thrown around and all the facts will be distorted and twisted by people to support one side or another on the gun debate. There is enough opinion out there to keep people debating for months, so I think I'll keep my opinions to myself this time...

Being a new father the only thing I can think about is how devastating it must be for the families and survivors who were thrown into this horrific life altering situation who now have to carry on holding their sorrow rather than their loved ones. All I want to say is take the time right now to hold the ones you love. Take the time now to kiss them, hold them and tell them what they mean to you, because you don’t always have tomorrow.
