The Liberal Left vs. the Alt Right. - Is a Civil War Starting?

I've been trying to ignore the news, hoping the problem would go away, but it seems like it's getting worse and I'm afraid that it's going to cause a divide strong enough in America to cause the next civil war. The alt right is acting insane. The President of the United States is talking crazy. But what he said about "both parties being to blame" isn't wrong.

I understand why the Alt-Right is acting the way they do.

I understand why Neo-Nazis are gaining popularity.

I understand why the KKK is getting members.

As a non-white minority that most of them probably hate, I obviously don't condone it, but it's important to understand why they feel the need to act this way, and why it is both sides, including the liberal left, inciting the alt-right to act insane. This facebook post sums it up quite well. 

If you somehow don't know what level of insanity is happening and don't see a potential divide causing the next civil war, watch this vice documentary.

It's because of the extreme liberal left gaining power and traction in America and Canada that people start signing up for sites like Storm Front and the alt-right, extremist groups gain new members. Posts like this recruit people who would normally be moderately conservative into becoming extreme.  

Before people start getting mad at me, remember, I'm not supporting the alt-right racist movement or the violence. Racism and violence is unacceptable and clearly wrong. I'm saying that we need to understand why it's happening so we can stop it, and hopefully bring back our country into an equilibrium so this doesn't happen again or get worse. 

When the left gets too much power, the right wants to fight back and vice versa.

I don't want to see this divide in my home country where I was born and raised. I don't want a civil war to start. I don't condone the violence.

As for violence, the Alt-Right is preparing for war, and the Antifa extreme left (Anti-fascists) are basically the same thing on the other side of the coin. But really the biggest problem with the Antifa left is that they don't' even want to have a rational conversation and just want to impose their views. This is causing people in the middle to become far right supporters. See this video as an example of someone who could have been in the middle but now justifiably thinks that all liberals are idiots. 

 

If I had to pick sides on who is right or wrong, both sides have their faults. But the alt-right has taken things too far and the violence and racism needs to end.  But we can't sit here thinking that the liberal left doesn't incite them to do insane things. People don't realize but the only reason why Donald Trump got elected our president is because a lot of Americans had enough political correctness shoved down their throats for too long and wanted a change, regardless of how radical. Either way, regardless of who started it, or who is inciting it, the violence needs to end.

Just because the alt-right is acting insane, doesn't mean the liberal left isn't making it worse.  

I'm hoping that this article starts up a conversation as understanding "the why" and having a rational conversation about it is the only true solution and is the only way we can truly, "Make America Great Again." or at least sane again...which is something I'd settle for just about now.
