Do you buy Steem specifically or Steem Power (SP)? I'm assuming you are not buying Steem Backed Dollars (SBD or SD). We know SP is more like a bond, a hedge, with potential that is more long-term, as in years. And Steem is more like a normal cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. I have some Bitcoin and some SP.

I may buy some Ethereum. I have some Litecoin. I prefer to have SP over Steem for now but I know I can always power down from SP to Steem if I ever want to and maybe someday. I think you cannot buy SP directly and that SP has to be obtained through SBD or Steem or as we gain votes in Steem.
