Great day. First really nice weather for working outside. Changed out two flat tires on the garden cart. Replaced inflatable tires with solid wheels. They sell the carts with inflatable tires because it is cheaper but they don't last so they sell you the no- flat tires extra after you already bought their cart. Sucker..
But it's a heavy duty cart and I need it for moving stuff around. Holds 1000 lbs. Also made a bottom liner for it out of scrap plywood from the roof construction.
Then the shed caught my attention. It was a shelter for a couple of goats the previous owners Sandy and Caru Chandrika Dasi had kept. Using scraps from the roof construction I put a metal roof over it and lined the sides with old decking. Using soffit scraps to fill in open spaces.
It was feeling very cozy in there and I thought maybe I would like to camp out or just sit in there and read and chant or something.
When I looked again it looked like a manger. Thinking how there had been no rooms at the inns and Jesus was born in a place like this. Cool little shed. Feels real special in there.
Pruned back the peach tree. It's covered with blooms. Hope that is the last of the hard freezes. Pretty tree now that all the suckers and water shoots are gone. Has a nice shape and form.
wow very good @jiva34
