Chickens afternoon.

in #life7 years ago

Good morning, today I want to share some nice photos.

Who of you takes pictures of your food when it is still alive?

Hehehe, it was a nice afternoon between roosters and chickens, toads and ducks.

This breed of bird (Striped neck hen) is very funny to see them as they look like old hens. This breed derives from a European genetic manipulation of the 70's, it is a kind of hybrid between turkey and chicken. It has been proven that this breed is more versatile at high temperatures than common birds, they do not suffer from stress due to heat like those with feathers on their neck.

I think the breed of that hen is an ISLAND RED, as you can see it is one of the most common, like those that can be seen anywhere. At the time of eating these birds you can appreciate the difference in the taste of their meat with respect to the birds raised in a hatchery. Once I saw a document I understood this issue better (I recommend you see it, "Food Inc.").

Here other examples of walking food, these rich cute ducks that came in search of food and then satisfy us.

OH! Who is taking a picture?

It's what my expression makes me understand.

By the way to take these pictures I used patience, since these animals are in constant movement as my niece constantly threw bread to bring them to her.

Here one of the models running away from the show. Is it because he has seen the fate of his farm partner?

A rich roast lamb.

Anyway ... there is someone who was saved from the grill or the oven ...
