These words are so true. I remember in my first relationship in my early 20s, my boyfriend relied on his parents for money and played poker online for everything else. Then I would be working all day, come home, and all my beer would be gone :( So then started the "scorekeeping" in my mind. Scorekeeping is horrible, and can be a sickness, but if it starts becoming pervasive, maybe the person is taking advantage of you and it's time to go! I learned that one early, and I am happy to be out of the scorekeeping world forever.
Anyway, thank you for the well-thought out reminder about the money-love balance :)
