Love the post. I use my personal time to get lost in a good book, with my phone on silent and my lights dimmed. But once in a while I use a technique I learned when I was younger and listen to soft music at a very low volume. It's called auditory training, it causes you to block out all external distractions and focus on the music, putting you into an almost trance-like state. Your heartbeat slows, your blood pressure lowers, and your stress melts away.
