If you hear that word bitter I'm sure you won't try it anymore but if you'll know the benefits of it you won't regret trying.
This is our daily tea, this is "Serpentina Tea" we boil 5 pieces of leaves then drink it like a tea. Even though I would say that the taste isn't quite good because of its bitterness, we already know that in the long run we'll get plenty of benefit drinking this. We can consider it as herbal tea instead of drinking coffee everyday we replace coffee with this because we know that coffee also contains lot of sugars and too much caffeine is also not good for our health.

This is the Serpentina Plant I'm talking about its bitterness is 10 times stronger than an ampalaya or bitter gourd in english it is also called the "King of Bitters" . Now its time to discuss the medicinal property this medicinal plant have.
The number 1 remedy for high blood sugar, drinking this as a tea thrice a day can lower blood sugar effectively. It is good for those who have cough and colds also for those who are suffering stomachache he/she can drink this 3 times a day(boil 5 pieces of leaves)and drink it like a tea that is what "nanay" said to us a good neighbor of ours. She planted a lot of it in their mini garden at the side of their house that's why whenever we want to take some leaves we have their permission to take some.
Another is that it can be used as dewormer? I can't find the right word for it but to make our children lose unwanted worms inside them.
There are more benefits of drinking this herbal medicine I'm sorry that's all I know but you can research for more of it.
