COOLEST THING WE HAD IS, WE HAVE A DOG TOURGUIDE
First point, the trek was good, 2/10 difficulty maybe, the scenes were amazing especially in the morning, if youre fast you can do it in 2 hours 2.) if you plan on going there, beat the crowd by being early, trek to the lake at around 7AM coz there are a LOT of people going there and you would want a good camping site, plus it usually rains past 12PM. 3.) bring food and water for lunch and maybe for dinner, if you want to cook, cook early, like 5PM for dinner. 4.) swim in the lake, few do it coz its cold and eerie but its an amazing feeling, you can drink the water while swimming. 5.) do the kayaking, i had goosebumps while we were at the center of the crater. Lastly, please follow the rules, be responsible for your garbage and dont get too loud.
Great for all outdoor enthusiasts, backpackers, mountaineers, trail runners or just a seasoned climber. Lake Holon, as I describe it, is truly a Paradise. You can take two trails, Salacafe Trail and Kule Trail. This place is really really a must-visit for all tourists in Soccsksargen (SOX). You can experience a fusion of outdoor and cultural immersion in one. Lake Holon is declared as a protected area with rich species of flora and fauna. It is considered as one of the Top 100 Sustainable Destinations and to be the cleanest lake in the country.
No wonder this is a must-visit place!

It is a real hike to get there but it is worth every single panny. Breathtaking views, graet local sagas about this holy lakes will be told to you.
We included Lake Holon in our itinerary since this is tagged as the most cleanest lake in the Philippines. You must need to climb at least 4,000 masl before you see its beauty
Visitors are required to register with the local tourism office but since we're from afar and didn't know this info, we were still approved for camping. This is done so the lake won't get too crowded with tourists.
There are no limits to the length of your stay but the guide services is only good for 24 hours. If you wish to extend, pay at the reception area. We paid to our guide directly.
